Thank you to everyone kind enough not to celebrate my birthday this year. It was quite pleasant. I got a few chapters read for a few of my classes, got started on my thesis for my archaeology final, did extra volleyball practice, worked at the café... all in all a very good birthday.

Except for the fact that when I got back to my room, Akiteru was there with a stupid grin on his face and a big, wrapped box. Idiot brother...

Private

To be honest, it was nice to see him even though it would have been better if he had warned me beforehand so I could have maybe gotten the day off work or something. He did some tossing for me which was nice, though not as good as Kageyama. Inside the big box was the Jurassic Park box set on Blu-ray, a stuffed velociraptor, new volleyball shoes, and a card from mom and dad with some money in it for "new music and/or volleyball stuff." Much better than them trying to pick out something that I already have.

...Maybe I should have gone home for Silver Week...
